Kyungmi Shin: Origin Stories

Join the Club of LA as we visit the Craft Contemporary Museum to discover the work of artist Kyungmi Shin. Shin's visual storytelling uses personal archives and figures from Korean shamanism to question the forces that chinoiserie and "the Orient" play in empire, colonization, religion, gender and love.
Following the exhibit, we will gather for a pay-as-you-go lunch and a discussion of her work.
Museum admission is $9 for adults, $7 for students and seniors and free for kids under 12.
